IDAHOBIT events on campus

You’re invited to attend local morning or afternoon tea events at the following campuses hosted by the ACU ALLY Network, with the support of the Campus Deans and campus LGBTIQA+ Student Societies.

Wednesday 17 May is IDAHOBIT: the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia. The date commemorates when, in 1990, the World Health Organization declassified homosexuality as a mental disorder. Now it is a day to renew a shared commitment to stand up against homophobia, biphobia and transphobia and to affirm members of the LGBTIQA+ community.

Please join us to share some of the lovely provided treats. As always, we encourage everyone to BYO their reusable coffee cup, and just a friendly reminder that rainbow paraphernalia is entirely welcome.
