Marketing and External Relations has several teams under the sub-directorates of Future Students, Communications and Creative Services, and Digital Experience.

Integrated Marketing Managers

The Integrated Marketing Managers are responsible for prospective student audiences – undergraduate, postgraduate and research. The team has in-depth knowledge of their markets and works to ensure that integrated marketing plans are developed, implemented and measured to meet target audience needs.

The Future Students Team provides the vital link between the University and prospective undergraduate students. The team offers support, guidance and information to help potential applicants, careers advisors, and parents make informed choices about attending university.

Internal Communications

Internal Communications supports the University’s organisational strategy and day-to-day operations by equipping staff with the right information and tools needed to deliver effective communications across operational and portfolio areas. The team helps staff drive initiatives by providing guidance on preparing communication plans and delivering best practice advice and training on how to engage employees.

Media

The Media Team helps to boost public awareness and shape public perceptions of ACU by driving and supporting the University’s media engagement and profile-raising efforts. The team provides specialist media and public relations advice to all directorates and faculties and assesses and manages reputational risks for the University.

Creative Services

The Creative Services (design) Team is integral to ensuring that ACU branding, publications and marketing materials are innovative, fresh, and appealing to our target markets. The team produces creative work for a wide variety of media platforms including print, online, outdoor, television and radio. The team provides design services and advice to departments and faculties across the University and is responsible for creating and updating the brand guidelines.

Events

The Events Team manages a wide variety of events across all seven ACU campuses and collaborates with departments and faculties in order to design, produce and facilitate functions with appropriate protocols and professionalism. The team also produces a number of event templates, an Events Guide, and offers advice for those holding their own events.

The Content Team is responsible for ensuring ACU’s marketing communications are on-brand and appealing and relevant to our target markets. The team produces content for a wide variety of platforms and campaigns and ensures consistency across the University.

The Digital Marketing Team provides guidance, advice and support on campaign development and execution. The team’s primary focus is managing strategic, effective, targeted and measurable campaigns to promote ACU’s products/services, and enhance the University’s brand awareness and customer engagement .

The Digital Operations Team manages a portfolio of digital projects and initiatives that deliver exceptional outcomes for students and staff through new, innovative and enhanced user experiences. The team manages the strategy and development of new websites, webpages and web sections.

The Digital Projects and Customer Relationship Management Team are responsible for key projects such as the Student Portal and Course Browser projects. The team are also responsible for the CRM.
