How do I log in to LEO?

Wherever you are, if you have internet access, you should be able to access LEO.

LEO can be accessed via the Student Portal or directly by typing the web address leo.acu.edu.au into the address bar of your browser. We recommend bookmarking this page.

The recommended supported browsers are:

  • Google Chrome
  • Firefox
  • Safari
  • Brave
  • Microsoft Edge

Staff and students can also view and interact with LEO content on mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets. Some functionality and editing capabilities may be restricted on these devices.

Occasionally we come across compatibility issues with some of the tools, but as long as you are using one of the browsers above, the issues should be minimal.

Take time to familiarise yourself with the interface. Some of the things to look out for on the home page are:

  1. The Burger icon on the top-left of the page lets you show or hide the Navigation menu.
  2. The Navigation menu includes links to units and other LEO features.
  3. Your My units list (your currently running units) is displayed in the navigation menu.
  4. The Dashboard is where you can access all current and previous units.
  5. Your Name at the top-right of the screen opens the Profile menu to access your personal settings.
  6. The student notices contain important updates in LEO.
  7. The LEO Support link is available for technical support anywhere in LEO.
  8. Your ePortfolio can be accessed using the link on the top-right of the page.

The home page also provides links to LEO Guides, ACU Library and the Academic Skills unit.

The layout of this page may be different on mobile or tablet devices, however most functions are accessible.
