How to access Echo360 directly

You can access Echo360 directly to upload, create and edit videos, plus access collaborative and analytics tools:

  1. In your web browser, navigate to Echo360.net.au
  2. Enter your ACU email address and click Submit .
  3. If prompted to choose an Institution, choose "Australian Catholic University" from the list, then click Submit .
  4. If prompted with an Authentication Required dialogue box, enter your ACU username and password, then click OK.

You should now be logged in and taken to your Library, where you can access all your Echo360 videos. If you are unable to log in, please make a request via Service Central or call (07) 3623 7272.

How to access Echo360 through LEO

You can access Echo360 media using the Text Editor in LEO by using the Add Echo360 Media button:

The Add Echo360 Media button can be used to select existing media, plus upload or create videos to add into any activity or resource where you can use the text editor. For more information see LEO Guides: How to add Echo360 videos to your LEO unit.

Features available in Echo360

  • Upload a new video to your library using the Upload Media link under the Create menu
  • View your units in Echo360 under the Courses tab
  • View and create groups of users under the Groups tab
  • Download Echo360 software and plugins using the Downloads link under the Cog icon
  • Create a video with Universal Capture by using the New Software Capture link under the Create menu
  • Record in the physical lecture space by using the New Device Capture link under the Create menu
  • Create links to your videos to share in your LEO units
  • Edit your Echo360 videos by selecting the video in your Library and choosing the Edit option.

To enable your students to view automatic lecture recordings, you will need to connect your LEO unit to your course in Echo360 through LEO.
