How to upload a video Echo360 directly

If you wish to link to your video from outside of LEO, or want to perform any editing or collaboration tasks with your videos, you can upload them directly to Echo360. Uploaded videos will also be available through the Add Echo360 media button in LEO.

The most common are video files such as mp4, wmv or avi, however you can also upload a PowerPoint presentation or image.

  1. Log into Echo360.net.au with your ACU email address. If visiting this site for the first time you may have to fill in your ACU username and password. Once you have logged in successfully you will be on your content library home page.
  2. At the top of the page, click the Create button and choose the Upload Media option:
      Upload Media option
  3. Click the blue document icon to choose a file on your computer, or drag and drop your file from the Finder or Explorer window into the box:
Select a file screenNote: the menu on the left side of this panel allows you to choose files from connected cloud accounts as well as locally saved files.
  4. Once you have placed or chosen your file/s, press the Upload button on the bottom right hand side of the box and your files will be uploaded to your library. It may take a while to upload large files as Echo needs to process these files before they can be used. Refresh your browser if your upload is taking a long time.
