You can upload video files you have previously created from your computer to Echo360. Once your videos are uploaded and hosted in Echo360 you can create a link to them, or get the code to embed it in the page. You can use these links to add video content to activities in your LEO units, or to submit a video assignment.

Uploading using the Echo360 Media button in the text editor

If your LEO unit has a an assignment submission set up already, the easiest way to upload a video is by using the Echo360 media button in the text editor.

Follow the guide on How to submit a video assignment. You will see that there are three tabs, which allow you to:

  • Choose From My Home: select a video already uploaded to Echo360.
  • Create New Media: launch the Universal Capture software to make a new recording.
  • Upload Existing Media: upload a video file saved on your computer.

How to log into Echo360 directly

If you do not have access to the video assignment to upload using the Echo360 Media button, you can log directly into the Echo360 site to upload and manage your video library.

  1. Navigate to into Echo360.org.au in your web browser.
  2. When prompted, enter your ACU email address (please use your student email address with your name, not student number) and click the Submit button.
  3. When prompted by a username and password dialogue box, enter your ACU username and password and click "OK".

Once you have logged in successfully you will be taken to your Library page.

File to be uploaded in list

Once your files have been uploaded and processed, they will appear in your Echo360 library.

Note: Large files may take a while to upload and process and will not be watchable until they have finished processing. You can still embed an unprocessed video in your assignment submission if you need to, and it will be watchable once processing has completed.

Use the Echo360 App

You can also use the Echo360 app to upload videos directly from your phone or tablet.

The app is available from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
