There are three steps required to adding a YouTube video to your LEO unit via a Label:

1. Add a Label to your LEO unit.
2. Locate and copy the embed code for the YouTube video you want to use.
3. Paste the embed code into the text editor field of your Label.

Add a Label to your LEO unit

• To add a Label to your LEO unit, please follow the steps in How to add a Label to your unit. Alternatively you may edit the settings of an existing label.

Find the embed code for your YouTube video

To find the embed code for your YouTube video you will need to:

1. In a new browser tab or window, navigate to YouTube and find the video you would like to make available to your students in your Label (an example might be this video: Welcome to Australian Catholic University for Undergraduate students).
2. Click on the 'Share' button under the video.
3. In the popup window, click the 'Embed' option.
4. Modify any of the available settings you wish (the defaults are usually fine), then click the 'Copy' button. This is the code you will need this to paste into the 'Label text' field in the next step.

Paste the embed code into your Label

YouTube embed code cannot be placed directly into the Label text field. It must be added in the HTML Source view.

1. Click on the Show more buttons button, which will open all the formatting tools for the Label text editor:
    
2. If you're embedding the video amongst other content in your Label, place a new line in your Label text and type "Add video here". This will make it easier to paste the embed code in the right place in your code. Then, click the HTML button:
    
3. In HTML view, highlight the "Add video here" text added in the last step (including the <p> tags at the beginning and end of this line) and press Control+V (on PC) or Command+V (on Mac) to paste your YouTube embed code in its place:
    
4. Click the HTML button again to return to the normal view. You should now see the video embedded in the Label text field.
5. Click Save and return to unit to save your changes.
