ACU supports your career development
ACU has put a spotlight on career development by introducing a new and improved way for staff to own, drive and progress their development and career with ACU.
The Progress Plan (available in Staff Connect) has been in operation for a year and replaced the paper-based Performance Review and Program Planning for Academic and Professional Staff.
During the 2019 myVoice survey you told us that feeling supported in building your career was important. The Progress Plan offers staff and supervisors an enhanced tool to align contribution, development and progress with the university’s strategic priorities and your own professional growth and career development.
Enhancing staff engagement and experience through a focus on career development remains a key priority for the university.
ACU will undertake a review of the Progress Plan this year to assess whether it has:
The senior lead for the review, Senior HR Consultant Chantal Farah, said the review aimed to identify ways in which the Progress Plan could continue to positively support staff and supervisors to, collectively and individually, enhance career development and progress.
“There will be various opportunities for staff to contribute and provide input about their experiences with the Progress Plan, specifically in relation to the user experience and how it helps us identify opportunities for career development.”
