Certificates can be awarded based on one or more activity competitions, or when a student completes all the required activities in your LEO unit.

To create a Certificate in your unit:

1. Navigate to your unit and turn the editing on.
2. Click the Add an activity or resource link in the section where you want to add the certificate.
3. Choose the Certificate activity (see image right). 
4. Configure your certificate settings. Use the Restrict Access options in the settings to make the certificate available to students when the required conditions are met.
5. Click the Save and return to unit button to finish.

How to create Certificates with ACU Branding

To configure a certificate with the correct ACU design and branding, use the following settings under the Design options section during setup:

• Certificate type - choose "ACU_LEO"
• Orientation - choose "Portrait"
• Seal or logo image - choose "ACU-logo"

All other options can be left with their default settings.

When a student views their certificate, it will have:

• The ACU logo
• Their name
• The LEO unit’s full title in bold
• A red border (this cannot be changed in settings).
