ACU teaching staff members are strongly advised to check the Teacher Validation Database (TVD) to view the units (if any) that have been linked to their names for Summer Term (202005) & Professional Term 1 (202007) in the first half of 2020.
The School/Faculty nominee is responsible for verifying and entering the correct information on the TVD. View the list of School/Faculty nominees.
Please login to the TVD to check if your details are correctly linked to the unit(s). If you find that the details are incorrectly entered for a unit, or there is a missing unit, please contact your School or Faculty nominee to advise them immediately to action your request for change.
Please note, staff will only be able to view their own information linked to unit(s) on the TVD, they will not be able to view information for any other staff who are teaching in the same unit(s).
Access to the TVD will close on Monday, 23 December 2019 at 5pm to all staff and no changes will be allowed after this date.
The Learning and Teaching Centre will be using the data collected through the TVD in the online evaluation system, for preparing the Student Evaluation of Learning and Teaching (SELT) surveys. Therefore, it is vital that all (and only appropriate) names are included in the TVD.
Staff names, which are entered in TVD and found in the staff directory maintained by HR, will be included in the SELT surveys for Part B; this enables students in a unit to provide feedback on an individual teacher.
Only those included in the SELT surveys will be able to receive their individual SELT reports, provided at least five student responses are identified for a teacher.
Staff can include an additional question in the Student Evaluation of Learning and Teaching (SELT) survey for units that are offered in Term 2 (Foundation Studies) (202334).
