New Interdisciplinary Collaborative Teaching Policy

A working party was established and bench-marking undertaken in order to review the existing Discipline Expertise Policy.

The Interdisciplinary Collaborative Teaching Policy has been developed to define what constitutes interdisciplinary collaborative teaching, to outline the principles that underpin collaborative teaching at ACU and to ensure the provision of high quality and relevant teaching by staff recognised as expert in a given subject area through collaboration between the discipline expert and the School providing the program.

The governing authority for this policy is the Courses and Academic Quality Committee. The policy was approved by Academic Board on the 28 November 2018 and came into effect on 1 January 2019.

The new policy is available online at Interdisciplinary Collaborative Teaching Policy.
