Health Minister Brad Hazzard on campus

Third-year Physiotherapy students at North Sydney discussed their career plans with a special guest last month: the NSW Minister for Health and Minister for Medical Research, The Hon Brad Hazzard MP.

Making his first visit to ACU since taking on the Health portfolio in January, Minister Hazzard toured the Caroline Chisholm Building and the Occupational Therapy labs in Champagnat House, where he chatted with students, lecturers and a current client.

In addition to visiting ACU Health Sciences facilities, the Minister met with the Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Craven, Professor Michelle Campbell and Professor Marea Nicholson. The meeting was a great opportunity to discuss the strong contribution that ACU makes to the NSW health workforce.
