The management and delivery of projects is a core business activity carried out across all areas of the University. The success of these projects is often vital to achieving ACU’s Strategic Goals, and therefore a key driver of the University’s success.
In recognition of the importance of projects in the ACU environment, the ACU Project Management Model was launched in November 2015 as a baseline standard to the initiation, planning, implementation and closure of projects. In the interests of continual improvement, the Office of Planning and Strategic Management (OPSM) will be undertaking a review of the ACU Project Management Policy and Procedures in 2017.
The review aims to identify how effectively the policy and procedures have been in achieving their purposes. The process will include interviews with project staff, sponsors, project directors and stakeholders, and a review of leading project management practices through a range of workshops, surveys and individual discussions.
If you would like to participate in the Policy review, please contact Maria Fernandes by email at maria.fernandes@acu.edu.au by Friday 31 March, 2017.
