Work to revamp ACU’s public website and create a more user-friendly online experience has begun.The Digital Strategy team, based within Marketing and External Relations, is currently in the process of determining the requirements of the new website and refining its scope.
The team has begun meeting with staff from across the University to discuss the website and determine the requirements of the different faculties, institutes and directorates.
The public website project aims to improve the publics’ online experience with ACU’s primary website, by providing a simple and intuitive website that allows users to navigate and find information easily.
Creating a new public website will also provide an opportunity to implement ACU’s new brand strategy and visual identity. The project will see an overhaul of both the content on the website, along with the visual elements of the site to ensure it is consistent with our new brand.
The project will also see the public website migrate from the current Squiz Content Management System (CMS) onto Sitecore CMS. The new CMS will improve search capabilities and provide greater functionality in terms of personalisation and customisation for users.
