Identity and Mission invite all ACU staff, family and friends on a guided pilgrimage throughout Italy. For 18 days, you will visit significant historical cultural and religious sights in
Venice, Padua, Ravenna, Florence, Assis, Perugia and Rome.
This is your opportunity to immerse yourself in Art, Beauty & the Church. With our professional guides you will be given the opportunity to appreciate the classics such as Michelangelo’s David;
Fra Angelico’s Fiesole altarpiece in Florence; Gesuati Church and the famous Palace of the Doges in Venice and Michelago’s Sistine Chapel in Rome.
You will visit the Scavi (excavations under St Peter’s Basilica); the medieval centre of Perugia; the Roman ruins and amphitheatre in Fiesole; Uffizzi Gallery and Museum of San Marco Florence and attend a general audience with the Pope and much more.
Did we mention the prayer and reflection, food, gelato, wine, shopping and strolling through the wonderful streets?
