Staff are encouraged to review learning opportunities and to liaise with their supervisor if they are interested in participating. You can register through the links provided.

Study Support
The University supports staff learning and eligible staff can apply for Study Support for a nationally-recognised award course of study from a public or private provider (subject to eligibility criteria). For more information on Study Support visit the HR website.
National: Several dates in 2015
SPLASH units are master's level units and may be used as credit towards a Master of Theological Studies or a Graduate Diploma in Theological Studies. Interested participants may also audit (not for credit, no assessment) these units for their personal interest. They are delivered in intensive mode and are available nationally via video conference. Upcoming units include: Evolution, Ecology and God, and Celebrating Liturgy Today: Exploring the Ritual Enactment of Faith.
Theology short courses

Want to learn more about Christian faith in educated and accessible way? Interested in exploring theology but aren't able to commit to a degree? The Short Course program is just the thing! Suitable for parishioners, teachers, youth groups, university staff and students, and the general public. Explore the heart of Christianity and consider questions important to faith in a relaxed group setting. Our short courses enable you to learn from ACU's leading theology and philosophy scholars.
Graduate Certificate in Higher Education
The Graduate Certificate in Higher Education is for teachers and other educational professionals who want to improve their tertiary teaching and gain formal qualifications in post-secondary education. Offered by ACU's Learning and Teaching Centre, the GCHE is open to degree-qualified academic and professional staff members who are directly involved in teaching.

Increasing Your Level Of Wellbeing

This workshop looks at this research and its application to increasing our own wellbeing.

This one-day workshop supports higher education staff to write with impact and to get results. Content focuses on writing clear and concise business reports within the tertiary context. This workshop is highly interactive and skills-based.

Effectively Handling Allegations and Investigations of Research Misconduct

The increase in the number of researchers, growing pressure to publish, and the competition for research funding over the past decade, has put pressure on the academic research community. Although serious cases of research misconduct by members of academic staff are relatively few in Australian universities, where they occur they have the potential to impact not only the career of the particular staff member, but also to negatively impact the university in reputational and financial terms. International reports indicate that the requirement to deal with allegations or actual incidences of research misconduct is increasing.

Workplace Relations Practitioner
