Echo360 is ACU's streaming media, video creation and lecture capture system.
Echo360 is available to all ACU staff manage streaming video, share content in your units, manage automatic lecture recordings, as well as access additional tools and features for online teaching and learning.
All ACU staff may upload video content to their Echo360 library to share with colleagues and to include as resources within your LEO units. You may upload media that you’ve created on your computer or mobile device directly to Echo360 through the Add Echo360 Media button in the LEO Text Editor, via the Echo360.net.au website, or by using the iPhone or Android app.
Your library provides access to other features such as video editing, data analytics and transcripts. Zoom recordings (when saved to the Cloud) are also automatically uploaded to Echo360 for you to access and share as required.
Staff and students may use Universal Capture, a free downloadable program for PC and Mac, to record videos on their computer and upload them to their Echo360 library to use as unit resources or video assignments submissions.
Echo360 Lecture Capture is an automated service that requires no technical knowledge of the system to use. Classes scheduled as a "lecture" in the ACU timetabling system will be automatically recorded. You may also use Echo360-enabled rooms to manually record tutorials and lab classes.
Echo360 also has additional features that you can use for online learning. See the following guides for more information:
