Biography

Amanda Curtis is the Interfaith Relationship Coordinator in the Office of Government, Policy and Strategy. She is responsible for managing and facilitating the delivery of major high-profile interfaith events and initiatives for the university with a primary focus on the annual Parliamentary Interfaith Breakfast.

Amanda has extensive experience in events management and community engagement in education, government, not for profit and medical organisations, and ran Melbourne’s first and largest autism event, the Autism Health and Well Being Expo in 2015. She engaged with members of the community and many interfaith leaders during her time at the Greater Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust when organising official openings and blessings of new cemeteries and mausolea across Melbourne, and in running community meetings to inform and consult on cemetery construction works.

Qualifications

  • Diploma of Teaching (Primary), La Trobe University
  • Graduate Diploma in Educational Administration, University of Melbourne
